Operating from 1978 to 2012, the property featured a 380-room Brutalist concrete tower with an understated design. The hotel earned a distinguished reputation for the brand’s signature luxury service, attracting high-profile guests and hosting major events such as the Toronto International Film Festival. The building was eventually sold for redevelopment due to its age and the company’s plan to create a modern, purpose-built flagship property.
